The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will conduct recruitments to help Flexible Staffing Solutions and the Brickman Group fill a number of jobs in Cobb County. The recruitments will be held Friday, Sept. 7, and Monday, Sept. 10, at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, located at 465 Big Shanty Rd. in Marietta.

On Friday, Flexible Staffing will be recruiting about 20 assembly-line production workers between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have at least six months of warehouse or production experience, able to lift boxes less than 20 pounds, and stand for long periods of time in a fast-paced production environment.

Applicants must have at least two forms of identification, including a driver’s license, a state-issue picture-identification card, a birth certificate, or a U.S. Social Security Card.

On Monday, Brickman Group will be recruiting landscaping workers between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have at least one year of landscaping experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Salaries range from $8.50-$9 an hour. While shifts may vary, some landscapers will work from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
