Evelyn Bradley, a graduate of McEachern High, has received a $1,000 scholarship through the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program.

The scholarships are awarded to students who are involved in their schools, serve as models for their fellow students, and are “catalysts for positive change in their communities,” a news release says.

“The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program honors some of our states most dedicated students," Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens says in the release. "I’m proud to join Comcast in celebrating the academic and civic achievements of our local winners, and I thank them for the impact they have made on the state of Georgia.”
