Andy Wilson Dies at 47
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory's Powder Springs location.
James Andrew “Andy” Wilson, 47, of Powder Springs, died Friday, July 6, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home & Crematory's Powder Springs location, with Rev. Ken Williams officiating. Interment will be at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta.
A native of Cobb County, Andy graduated from Wheeler High School and Polk College in Winter Haven, Florida. He graduated from Chattahoochee Culinary School and was employed as deli manager for Publix.
Andy is survived by his wife, Karen Norton Chastain Wilson of Powder Springs; four step-children, Taylor Chastain, Walker Chastain, Jonathan Chastain and Sarah Chastain, all of Marietta; his mother, Elizabeth “Bettie” Wilson of Kennesaw; three sisters, Daryl Wilson Miller of Dallas, Catherine Wilson Doughton of Canton, and Linda Wilson McDaniel of Powder Springs.
He was predeceased by his father, James H. Wilson.
