Beverly Amburn Dies at 62

Beverly Jean Amburn, 62, of Powder Springs, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.
Born in Rockford, IL, Mrs. Amburn moved to Georgia more than 50 years ago. She retired from the Housing and Urban Development with the federal government after 35 years of employment, and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Smyrna. She was preceded in death by her father, John Paul Ancona Jr.
Survivors include husband Gary Amburn two daughters, Stephanie Lee and husband Jared of Marietta, and Tammy Amburn of Douglasville; mother Palma Ancona of Smyrna; siblings Diane Ancona of Marietta, John Ancona and wife Lisa of Jacksonville, FL, and Kathy Menard and husband Paul, Canton; three grandchildren, Cavin Lee, Camron Lee and Lander Hallmark; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wellstar Community Hospice at Tranquility, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106.
