A longtime employee of the Cobb County School District has been arrested on charges that he produced and received child pornography.

According to multiple reports, Stanley Keith Johnson, a transportation field coordinator with the school district, was charged by federal officials on Tuesday.

Johnson, who is from Mableton, was scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate Friday morning.

CBS Atlanta cited "a law enforcement source" that the case involves a boy, possibly 8 or 9 years old.

CCSD spokesman Jay Dillon told The Marietta Daily Journal that Johnson, who has been employed by the district since 1989, will be terminated, and that his arrest "has nothing to do with the district or his job with the district."
