Ensel “Pat” K. Priest, an 82-year-old Powder Springs man, passed away on Thursday.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Macland Baptist Church, with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Priest will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Visitation was Sunday at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory.

Priest was retired from Eastern Airlines and was a member of Macland Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Myra Priest of Powder Springs; children, Judy (Paul) Knighten of Atlanta, Joe (Rochelle) Priest of Pace, FL and Roger (Faith) Priest of Dallas; five grandchildren, Dustin, Coty, Josh, Cley and Jesse; and 2 great-grandchildren, Ethan and Lexi.
