Highs Forecasted To Drop into 60s
The National Weather Service is also predicting chances for showers and thunderstorms throughout the week.
1. Powder Springs City Council. The council is set to meet Monday at 7 p.m. at the Community Development office.
2. Douglas County Board of Commissioners. The board is scheduled to have a work session on Monday at 10 a.m., followed by its regular meeting on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Both meetings will be at the Douglas County Courthouse at 8700 Hospital Drive in Douglasville.
3. Weather. The forecast from the National Weather Service shows chances for rain on and off this week, with highs dropping into the 60s for Monday and Tuesday.
- Monday—Chance for showers, with thunderstorms possible after 2 p.m. High: 66/Low: 46
- Tuesday—Slight chances for showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. High: 67/Low: 45
- Wednesday—Sunny. High: 70/Low: 47
- Thursday—Mostly sunny. High: 80/Low: 52
- Friday—Mostly sunny during the day, with a 20 percent change of showers and thunderstorms during the night. High: 85/Low: 56
- Saturday—20 to 30 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms throughout the day and night. High: 86/Low: 61
- Sunday—30 percent chance for showers and thunderstorms. High: 83
