To get to the state quarterfinals, the No. 3 seeded Hillgrove girls soccer team has had to pull off two upsets. First, they knocked off No. 2 seed Newnan. Then on Tuesday, they thumped No. 1 seeded Savannah Arts 6-0.

For the Lady Hawks to advance to the state Final Four, they won't have to upset anyone to do it. Hillgrove will be taking on another No. 3 seed—Mill Creek—in today's state quarterfinal.

The two teams had one common opponent this season: Lassiter. On April 19, the Lady Trojans beat Hillgrove 3-1. In the first round of the state tournament last week, Mill Creek knocked off Lassiter 1-0.
