Why Go: Every year, Powder Springs Youth Baseball organizes a parade to kick-off the upcoming season. This year's parade is set to start around the 4300 block of Marietta Street and proceed toward Powder Springs Park. The street will be blocked off for the parade. Mayor Pat Vaughn will be throwing out the first pitch. Even if your kids aren't playing in the league, this community event will be tons of fun.

Why Go: This sale keeps growing and is now taking place in four locations in the spring and fall. Clothes, toys, baby equipment, books, bikes, shoes and linens will be among the many choices. More than 600 family sellers are involved in this week's sale.
Many items will be half price on Saturday.
Be sure to bring a laundry basket with a long belt or rope tied to the basket to help carry your items while you shop. No baskets will be provided. VISA, MasterCard and cash are accepted.
Another way to save is to sign up to volunteer. Some volunteers are paid, and all volunteers get to shop early.
