Teen Tweets 'Call 911,' Goes Missing

A 16-year-old New Jersey girl tweeted "There is somone in my hour ecall 911" about 6 p.m. Sunday and is now missing.

Police are searching for Kara Alongi and talking to friends, and a canine unit has been called to assist.

Armstrong Sets Record in Half-Ironman

Cycling superstar Lance Armstrong won Sunday’s SuperFrog Triathlon in California in a course record—living up to his pre-race declaration: “I am not banned from life.”

After finishing the 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and 13.1-mile run in 3 hours, 49 minutes, 45 seconds, Armstrong tweeted: “Had a helluva good time in the @superfrogtri today. Thx to all who came out and like always, a massive thanks to all the volunteers!”

Despite his recent lifetime sports ban by U.S. doping authorities, the 41-year-old Armstrong was able to compete in the 34th annual SuperFrog, a half-Ironman-distance event, because it was non-sanctioned and not subject to USADA rules. See photos...

Teen Dies After Learning How to 'Pass Out'

A California teen died Tuesday as a result of injuries from learning how to "pass out," police said.

The boy and two of his friends were watching a video online that taught them how to intentionally pass out, according to police. After imitating the video, the boy passed out and fell face first into a glass tumbler. One of the chards of glass cut his neck. Read more...
