Cobb Young Professionals, the Cobb Chamber’s networking group for young professionals in their 20s and 30s, is seeking nominations for the 2012 Next Generation Award.
Cobb Young Professionals is dedicated to the promotion and encouragement of young professionals in the workplace. Monthly meetings are held to network with other young professionals, and feature various guest speakers bi-monthly on topics that can influence their job performance and careers.
“The Cobb Young Professionals organization is made up of leaders among their peers, who take the time to refine their skills and serve in the community as a group,” said Cobb Young Professionals Chairman Jason Sleeman. “We are excited about this opportunity to recognize those who are a cut above the rest and serve the Cobb community as part of the next generation of leaders.”
Nominees must be active within the community, essential to their profession and offer a unique perspective. Recepients should be someone others can admire, learn from and celebrate. Any young professional may be nominated, but only members of the Cobb Chamber can be selected as an award winner.
The Next Generation Award will be presented at the Cobb Chamber First Monday Breakfast on Aug. 6 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
