The West Cobb Business Association presented two $500 scholarships to students from Harrison and Hillgrove high schools late last month.

With more than 100 in attendance, Meaghan O'Neil from Harrison and Cary Hurst from Hillgrove were awarded the scholarships. Both students were recommended by their school counselors and selected by a panel of judges from the business association.  

Both students were proud of their accomplishments and gave thanks for all the support they had received from parents and faculty, as well as the association.
