Police Chief Placed on Leave
The Cobb County Sheriff's Office is investigating his sale of a Powder Springs police car to Braswell, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.
Powder Springs Police Chief L. Rick Richardson has been on paid administrative leave since November during an investigation into the sale of a police vehicle, the Marietta Daily Journal is reporting.
The Cobb County Sheriff's Office is determining whether Richardson followed city policy in the sale to the city of Braswell in March 2007, Mayor Pat Vaughn told the Journal.
