Poll: Obama Catches Convention Bounce

Republicans are also more confident about Mitt Romney's odds of winning after the conventions, by only 55.4 percent expressed that feeling, as compared to 80.6 percent of Democrats. Credit Anna Varela

But Republicans were less likely to strongly agree, with 39.3 percent say they strongly agree vs. 58.1 percent of Democrats saying they strongly agree. Credit Anna Varela
Respondents of both parties agreed or strongly agreed that their own candidate's convention speech "provided specifics on his goals for the next four year and how he would achieve them." Credit Anna Varela
A little more than 82 percent of Republicans agreed or strongly agreed that Mitt Romney offered specifics, while a little more than 77 percent of Democrats felt that way about President Barack Obama's speech. Credit Anna Varela

Democrats and Republicans were polled separately, with each party asked to focus on their own presidential candidate's performance and their own party's convention.
