Powder Springs Arrests: Assault, Cruelty to Children

The Cobb County Sheriff's Office reported these bookings at the county jail of Powder Springs residents on Sunday.

Melody Glass Jackson (born 1958) was arrested Sunday at her residence in the 4900 block of Heritage Crossing Drive on charges of aggravated assault and cruelty to children—criminal negligence/causes excessive physical, mental pain. Christopher M. Williams (born 1969) was arrested Sunday on Macland Road by the Cobb Sheriff's Office on a charge of probation violation. He remained at the Cobb jail Monday on a hold for the Powder Springs Police Department.
