Powder Springs Employees Reach Milestones

Interim City Manager Brad Hulsey also recognized the Public Works Department for responding to fallen limbs late Thursday.

At the end of Monday night’s Powder Springs City Council meeting, interim City Manager Brad Hulsey recognized two city employees for recent milestones.

Community Development Director Pam Conner has been with the city for 15 years now, and Vanessa Hudson, an accounting and tax specialist, for 10.

Hulsey also recognized the Public Works Department for being called in and cleaning up “several heavy limbs” that fell from an old tree on Atlanta Street late Thursday evening.

“I wanted to thank the city,” said one affected resident present at Monday’s meeting.

Another house did sustain damage from the limbs, Hulsey said.

So glad they're getting recognition now because they sure won't get it when they retire.
