Mayor Recognizes Powder Springs Youth Group

Powder Springs Mayor Pat Vaughn (second from left) reads a proclamation at Monday's City Council meeting in recognition of recent volunteer work by the Powder Springs First United Methodist Church's youth group. The children mowed and cleaned up abandoned properties around the city. Vaughn said they encountered "deplorable conditions," and that the city appreciates their volunteer work.
