Sara Chastain Dies at 77
The family will receive friends at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
Sara A. Chastain, a 77-year-old Powder Springs woman, passed away on Wednesday.
The family will receive friends at the West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Northview Cemetery in Cedartown.
A native of Cedartown, Chastain moved to Powder Springs 25 years ago from East Point. She was a homemaker and a member of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cicero Chastain, in 2001.
Survivors include her children, Sherry (James) Byrd of Powder Springs, Steven Little of Collins, MS, and Grady (Ramona) Little of Dallas; sisters, Martha Pilgrim of Cedartown, and Christine Hudgins of Zebulon, GA; grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Heather, Christopher, Stephanie and Johnny; and 49 nieces and nephews.
