Shirley Gaines Dies at 73

Shirley Geiger Gaines, 73, of Powder Springs, died Saturday June 9, 2012.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bellamy Funeral Home, with Rev. Lamar Rackley officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include husband Robert Neil Gaines of Powder Springs; one son, Wesley and Melinda Fambrough of Hiram; one sister, Betty and Aubrey Brady of Powder Springs; two brothers, Rickie and Teresa Geiger of Powder Springs, and Mickey and April Geiger of Dallas; four grandchildren, Tonya Martin, Lori Rackley, Travis Fambrough and Casey Malcom; seven great-grandchildren, Kyndall, Skylar, Grace, Wyatt, Kayden, Luke and Keelyn.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Vera Geiger; her daughter, Tammy Malcom; and her sister, Barbara Kight.
