What makes your business unique?
I believe I have a different perspective and use that approach to offer a comprehensive solution to the small business owner. I think like a small business owner because I am one and understand the challenges of doing business in today's difficult environment. I challenge my clients to think in innovative ways to solve problems. This may sound like bragging but the bottom line is: I make my business unique because I am unique and am not satisfied until my client is satisfied.
What was your inspiration to starting your business?
I started my business because I felt that after working more than 10 years in a CPA firm and more than seven years in industry my skills were not being fully utilized. I wanted to make a difference with businesses, and helping them successfully navigate through difficult financial times is my reward.
What are the advantages of doing business in West Cobb?
West Cobb is growing and there is room to grow at a responsible pace. Traffic is better than in other parts of Cobb County, and support for business from organizations like the West Cobb Business Association is beneficial.
In times of a struggling economy, what advice would you give other business men and women to keep their business viable and growing?
You must stand out to survive because there are many businesses vying for the attention of the same customers who are looking to get the best value possible. Those customers are in the same boat as everyone else—demand for their goods and services is down. You have to regularly exceed expectations just to maintain what you have. Be prepared to work hard and remind yourself that you have to earn the privilege of doing business with your customers.
