Video: Fireworks Fly Over Powder Springs
The city's 17th annual Independence Day Celebration ended with a bang.
Powder Springs concluded its 17th annual Independence Day Celebration in typical fashion on Wednesday: with a bang.
Light rain did put a damper on things in the beginning. But the storm moved on by early evening, clearing the way for food, live music, children's activities and, of course, fireworks.
What appeared to be several thousand people lined the streets of downtown and surrounding area businesses and parking lots to watch.
You can see a photo gallery of this year's event here, and a video from last year's celebration here.
Whether you attended the event or stayed at home, we want to see how you celebrated the country's independence. Submit your own photos or videos to michael.stone@patch.com for publication.
