The West Cobb and South Cobb business associations welcomed members from the Powder Springs Business Association at an after-hours reception Tuesday at First Citizens Bank.

After a run of nearly four decades, the PSBA decided to dissolve late last year because of low membership and retiring board members. The organization held its final meeting in December, and the members have since merged with the WCBA and SCBA.

Also at the reception, Powder Springs Mayor Pat Vaughn and other city employees were recognized. Roughly 120 were in attendance.
