Please note this correction to those of you who read my recent article about the insurance on your water pipes.

If you received a brown envelope this week and opened it please reconsider buying into this program.

IT IS NOT THE PROGRAM ENDORSED BY THE CITY.

The endorsed program will come with the City Seal on the outside envelope. Also, you will be able to protect your water AND sewer lines for a total cost of $10.00 per month. I think that this is a better deal because I would hate to see what it would cost me to fix a break in my tree filled back yard, likely more than the water line and that is plenty.

So I am very sorry if I confused you in the earlier article. But I did become suspicious and called Utility Partners and they told me that citizens will begin receiving notices in a week or two.
