It seems like summer has just begun, but in reality, Cobb County students have just a few more weeks until they return to school! A return to school marks a chance for a fresh start for both students and their families, and we here at Lakeview Seventh-day Adventist Church would like to be a part of this fresh start. As part of our ongoing commitment to community involvement and outreach, the Lakeview Seventh-day Adventist Church will be hosting its second annual “Back to Health FUN Run” on Sunday, September 23^rd.

The Fun Run is designed to act as a catalyst to help families enjoy a healthier lifestyle. The race will begin at 9:00am and will include a 5K race and a 1 mile family fun run.  We’re expecting several community professionals and our own medical staff to provide a free health expo and medical screening for the community which will run until 2:00pm. The event is being advertised on active.com, around the community, and at local businesses.  We are expecting between 60 and 100 racers.
