What if you're an unemployed Republican and wanted to attend the BBQ but don't have $15.00 for you and your spouse or the funds for the kids?

Republicans don't care about the unemployed, the poor, or creating jobs. They don't want to be around unemployed "losers". They don't like to be around people of color either. It makes them uncomfortable.

John, Your a typical liberal raciest that has to spread lies and deceit. Cobb GOP and the republicans I know are the kindest people the give back to our community. I would like to invite you to our BBQ so you can see for you self. Dinner is on me a true republican. I LOVE ALL PEOPLE NO MATTER OF COLOR OR RACE.

Wow John, I feel like you've known me my entire life. Why yes I do tend to vote Republican yet I can tell from your insightful comments that you know all about me. Help me out here, which party has had African Americans on the ballot for president in the primaries? Do the names Alan Keys or Herman Cain ring any bells? How about that Marco Rubio fellow in Florida and his fellow congressman Alan West? Or the Hispanic governor of New Mexico Susanna Martinez. Or the governor of South Carolina who is from Indian, the country, descent Niki Haley? Oh wait they are also women.

As far as unemployed "losers", I think we can all agree everybody is a loser in this economy so no judgement is made. What we want to see is everybody getting jobs.

BTW did you know that in the last 2 House of Representative elections for District 13 there has been a black, female, doctor, Republican, Deborah Honeycutt, that has challenged David Scott for his seat?

Dr. Lou -- thanks for offering to pay for my ticket; however, I was invited to another event, I was primarily asking out of concern for those who probably wanted to come but didn't have the funds to attend. The announcement provided no additional information for those who are currently financially challenged and away from family during this holiday that may have wanted to attend and meet their representatives. Sometimes money keeps otherwise talented people away from such events.
