Powder Springs' annual Veterans Day ceremony will be held Sunday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Powder Springs Veterans Memorial in front of the library on Atlanta Street.
The ceremony will include a colorguard from Boy Scout Troop #1294, patriotic singing and a guest speaker. City officials from the Mayor’s office are expected to be inattendance as well.
In the case of rainy or severely cold weather,the ceremony will be held inside at the Post 294 home at 3282 Florence Road in Powder Springs.

More About Powder Springs Library
The Powder Springs Library moved to its current location in the Coach George E. Ford Cultural Arts and Community Center in January 2008; also at the site is a reception hall, senior center and soon-to-be-open cultural arts center.
The library houses a collection of more than 50,000 items. In addition to its collection, it offers reading groups and other activities. Adjoining the library is a public meeting room with a capacity of 50.
