The program will feature the presentation of Colors, patriotic music, and comments by Post 294 Commander Donna Redner and Powder Springs Mayor Patricia Vaughn.

The Powder Springs Veterans Memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day 2001.  The monument was built using public and private funds following a successful drive to bring to fruition the ideas of a few members who were gathered one day at the Post home. Post 294 and the City of Powder Springs jointly care for the monument and the surrounding grounds.
