Thursday

Forecast: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 1 and 7 p.m.

Easter Egg ScrambleWhere: Laurel Park at 151 Manning Road in Marietta
When: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
What: The hunt area is divided into age groups: 0-3, 4-6 and 7-10. There will be lots of candy and prizes for all. Bring your camera and visit with the Easter Bunny after the hunt.

Friday

Government Closings
Powder Springs city offices and Cobb County offices will be closed for Good Friday. Cobb schools are on Springs Break.

Saturday

Where: in Marietta
When: 9 a.m.
What: Congregation members will begin serving breakfast in St. Andrew’s Keheley Center at 9 a.m. In addition to a pancake breakfast, youngsters will have an opportunity to visit and take photos with the Easter Bunny. The cost for breakfast is $4.50 for adults and $2 for children. Children under 2 eat free.

Where:
When: 10 a.m.
What: The preschool-2nd grade egg hunt starts at 10:00 a.m., and the 3rd-5th grade egg hunt starts at 11:00 a.m. All activities, including games, will take place at the high school's stadium.


Where: Jim Miller Park on Callaway Road in Marietta
When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
What: The park opens at 10 a.m. The egg hunt schedule is: 0-3 years old, 10:30 a.m.; 4-5, 11 a.m.; special population's hunt, 11:30 a.m.; 6-7, noon; 8-10, 12:30 p.m.; Mad Hatter’s Contest and Easter Basket Contest, 1 p.m. There will also be art activities, live entertainment, inflatables and concessions. The Easter Bunny will be on hand.

Community Easter Egg Hunt
Where:
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
What: The Easter egg hunt will be in the field adjacent to the Lost Mountain entrance. There will also be inflatable rides and a petting zoo. Zaxby's, Yogli Mogli, and will have tents set up with food and snacks available for purchase.

Where:
When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: The free event will include a helicopter drop at 1 p.m. of thousands of eggs on the football field to kickoff the hunt. There will also be inflatables, face painting, free pictures with the Easter Bunny and vendors. The funds raised support both the Shop with a Yellow Jacket and the Shop with a Longhorn programs for Sprayberry and high schools.

When: 4 p.m.

Sunday

Forecast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.
