Art instructor

Job posting submitted by Tina Wilson

KidzArt is an international art enrichment program. A KidzArt instructor works as an art teacher in our after school programs for children in elementary school. An interest in art is a plus, but art experience is not necessary. Instructors will be trained how to teach our classes using KidzArt methods. The right candidates for this position will be energetic, patient and reliable, and have experience working with children.

This is a fun, enjoyable job, but it is a VERY part-time position, great for gaining teaching experience. Working hours for this program can be anytime between the hours of 2 and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Instructors are typically assigned two to three classes each week (three to give hours total).

KidzArt travels to various schools in northwest Georgia. We are looking for instructors that live in or very near Powder Springs, Acworth and Smyrna.

If interested, you’re asked to submit your résumé, as well as a cover letter detailing why you are interested in this part time position, to Tina Wilson at tinaw@kidzartnwga.com. No phone calls, please.

We will contact you if you fit our criteria. Training will start mid-July for classes to start late August/early September.
