1. Underwater Easter Egg Hunt
Where/When: 
5000 Highway 92 in Douglasville, Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m.
Why Go: 
Children ages 7 to 12 who can swim will be searching for eggs on Saturday at the Boundary Waters Aquatic Center. Since space is limited, advanced registration is preferred. 
Pricing: 
$2 per child

2. Community Block Party and Easter Egg Hunt
Where/When: 
646 Industrial Blvd. in Villa Rica, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go: 
Bring your Easter basket and your appetite. There will be free food, drinks and an inflatable gym for the kids. The egg hunt is set for 1 to 1:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Sisters and Brothers of Villa Rica.

3. Coffee and Books Downtown
Where/When: 
 and the , Friday from 3 to 5 p.m.
Why Go: 
The two downtown businesses are set to have their first shared book-signing event when Patricia Sprinkle visits Powder Springs to talk about and sign her new book, Friday's Daughter. The books will be available for purchase at the Book Worm while Sprinkle appears across the street at the coffee shop. This will be followed by a book reading on Saturday.

4. All Male Day Conference
Where/When: 
 at 3820 Macedonia Road in Powder Springs, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: 
The conference will include discussions on relationships, health, leadership, finances, sports, education, entrepreneurship and politics. 
Pricing: 
$7 in advance, $10 at door

5. Poker Tournament 
Where/When: 
 at 6682 East Broad Street in Douglasville, Saturday at 12 p.m.
Why Go:
Proceeds will benefit the Douglasville Tiger Cubs, a youth football and cheerleading organization. Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three finishers. 
Pricing: 
$25 registration
