Echo Mill Subdivision Consignment Sale
Around 50 sellers will participate in this week's consignment sale in Powder Springs. Clothing items will include infants to juniors plus shoes, accessories, toys, books, videos, furniture and a variety of equipment.

Slated to be the set for an upcoming, undisclosed movie, the subdivision contains 500 houses on wooded lots across 300 acres.
Many items will be half-priced on Saturday. There are no stroller restrictions. Children are invited to enjoy the playground after your shopping trip.
When: 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday

Order now through Thursday the following fruit plants: blueberries, blackberries, figs or raspberries. Orders will be available for pick-up on Oct. 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Douglas County Courthouse.

Lithia Springs High School Boy's Basketball Yard Sale Fundraiser
Booths are available for $20. Drinks and food will be served. Admission is free. Proceeds will benefit the boy's basketball program.

Proceeds will pay for glasses and/or hearing aids for Douglas County residents who have no insurance and cannot afford an eye exam.

Sell Your Crafts at Santa's Village Workshop
Monday is the deadline for those wanting to make money with their handmade crafts and gifts at the Santa's Village Workshop of the Woodie Fite Senior Center in Douglasville on Dec. 2 and 3.
