It's summer, and that means there's a never-ending supply of activities happening at Sweetwater Creek State Park.

1. The Hive Grand Opening. On Saturday, the Cracker Queen, , will open the doors to her literary loft above the for the first time. The grand opening of The Hive, scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m., is free, and the first 20 guests will receive "nifty goodies."
