Isaac Kemp and De'Nea Ervin welcomed seven pound, seven ounce An’Juan Royale Kemp to the world at 1:27 a.m. on Wednesday, making An'Juan the first baby born in Cobb County this year.
An'Juan was born at Austell's WellStar Cobb Hospital, and is now getting used to the whole "being alive" thing in the same room where 2013's first baby rested after being born.
Ervin told the Marietta Daily Journal that she was actively watching the clock on Tuesday night in the throes of labor and was glad to see the clock strike midnight while still pregnant with her son.
