2. 'SOUNDER' THE MOVIE
Where/When: The East Marietta Library at 2051 Lower Roswell Road, Monday at 6 p.m.

3. AFRICAN-AMERICAN STORY TIME
Where/When: East Cobb Library at 4880 Lower Roswell Road in Marietta, next Wednesday at 4 p.m.

4. TENNIS CLASSES BEGIN
Where/When: Tennis courts across Cobb County, including those at in Powder Springs; spring classes start Monday.
Why Go: Tennis is a great sport that physically and mentally challenges children in various ways. For forms and additional information, click here.
Pricing: $48 per 1-hour session for six weeks ($73 for out-of-county residents); $24 for toddlers per half-hour session for six weeks ($49 for out-of-county residents)
5. BIRD CONSERVATION WORKSHOP
Where/When: Cobb County Water Quality Lab at 662 South Cobb Drive in Marietta, Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go: Our Shared Forests is Ecuador and Georgia's migratory bird partnership through integrated conservation, bird monitoring and environmental education. In both Ecuador and Georgia, it aims at creating awareness about 10 bird species that migrate between both regions. The workshop is appropriate for 2nd through 8th graders.
