Among other creations for charity, the Knit Wits have made about 2,000 "Izzy Dolls" for children around the world, while the Wood Carvers whittle out longer projects for fun.

Along with knitting and carving groups, the also offers photography, ballroom dancing, a book club and much more. Anyone 55 and older is welcome to join in regardless of residency.

On March 26, registration will begin for classes with instructors, which do carry fees. At that time, go to this website to register.
