AUDITIONS LYNN SWANSON FESTIVAL SINGERS

LYNN SWANSON FESTIVAL SINGERS is a 30 voice ensemble specializing in short form a cappella and music of the Renaissance, Sacred Classics, Sacred Harp and spirituals. The ensemble also performs a Masterwork each season with the Kazanetti Chamber Orchestra.

Past performances include 2012 Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, Ernest Bloch's Sacred Service in Kansas City, KS, Christmas Atlanta in Midtown and Arts International Festival at Marion University.

2012-13 season will include performances of Blochs' Sacred Service at The Temple on Peachtree and Pro-Mozart Society's Holiday Gala, Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and Missa Brevis.

2012-13 Repertoire will include works of Monteverdi, Palstrina, Bruckner, Tavener and Whitacre.

Festival Singers rehearse on Tuesday evenings 7:15 - 9:30 at St. Benedict's Episcopal Church near Cumberland Parkway and I-285.

Lynn Swanson Festival Singers is an ensemble of The William Baker Choral Foundation a not-for-profit 501c-3 arts organization licensed to operate in Georgia, Kansas and Missouri.
