Hamlet and Hutch, starring Burt Reynolds, Terri Vaughn (The Steve Harvey Show) and Cassi Davis (Tyler Perry's House of Payne), moved filming to Marietta on Saturday.

Filming occurred at K. Mike Whittle Unique Floral Designs, 156 Church St, NE. The First Baptist Church of Marietta served as basecamp.

The movie was filming at The Grand Theatre in downtown Cartersville last week. The production will continue filming in and around Atlanta until April 13, according to Creative Loafing.

Hamlet and Hutch puts local actor Alan J. Sanders as Hamlet on the big screen, according to Cartersville Patch.

Production is set to continue in other Georgia cities, such as Blue Ridge, The Daily Tribune News reports.

Hamlet and Hutch is about an aging actor, who may be in the early stages of dementia, but has been asked to help save a small theater by coming to town and performing in a production of Shakespeare's Hamlet, Sanders told the newspaper.

In addition to directing local productions of Shakespeare plays, Sanders, a radio personality at Cartersville's WBHF—AM 1450, owner of AJS Productions and a Cartersville Patch contributor, has appeared in a small feature film, ShrimpCrawl, and a Hooters commercial, according to his YouTube channel.
