Businesses to Unite for After-Hours Haunt

Admission for tonight's event at Six Flags is $10.

Following the success of the first-ever joint Cobb business association networking event, , comes a fall season networking event—the October Haunt After Hours.

This private party, organized by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce and the South Cobb Business Association, is scheduled for tonight from 5 to 7 at Six Flags Over Georgia.

“This will prove to be one of the flagship events in networking for Cobb County,” said SCBA President Wayne Dodd. “The Cobb County Chamber has been unsurpassed in its efforts to promote this jointly held after hours with all of its resources and staff to make it the success that it is becoming.”

After-hours attendees will have a chance to network with businesses and community members from all over Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties. All 12 Cobb business associations, the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce and 21 corporate sponsors—including Patch—will be in attendance.

In addition to networking, attendees will have the chance to ride Six Flags coasters like the new Dare Devil Dive and Goliath, win prizes in a costume competition, and play various games. Children aren't allowed to attend.

"It is our commitment to continue to develop in the future many similar events that promote all of us in Cobb County and beyond because there is strength in numbers, and we are definitely a more viable force together than apart," Dodd said.
