Downtown Has Much To Offer

There are stores and activities aplenty for everyone in the heart of Powder Springs.

Have you visited historic downtown Powder Springs lately?

If you haven't, you're missing out on lots of changes, and we hope you will check them out soon.

We have a new traffic light (for all you southerners, a new red light) and it is a welcomed addition to the area. You can now turn off of Thornton Road at Oglesby Road, and it is a beautiful drive directly into the downtown area.

Once you are here, you will find some great businesses like :

The Country Store of Seven Springs but with a new twist! There are now quite a few vendor booths in ; in them, you will find old and new merchandise and antiques mixed in, as well as some art by local artists. Just in time for our Downtown Spring Open House on March 11 and 12, fresh bakery items from McEntyre’s Bakery in Smyrna will be sold. You will want to check the baked goods out quick because this well-loved establishment will only have a limited supply. For the open house, most downtown merchants are open for the extended hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are having special sales and happenings, including artist events and book signings.
