Is Starbucks Smoking Ban a Good Idea?

The coffee chain this weekend will reportedly ban smoking within 25 feet of its stores nationwide. Tell us what you think of the change.

Your routine cup of joe might soon be free of a side of second-hand smoke.

WJXT TV in Jacksonville, Fla., reports that one of the city’s Starbucks stores posted a letter telling customers that it will no longer allow customers to smoke within 25 feet of the store.

The change is set to come Saturday, but it won’t be limited to the Jacksonville store, as the TV station reports that the policy is going nationwide. That means Georgia smokers will have to put away their Pall Malls while on the patio.
