Patch readers chose the business this week as their go-to place for all things flowers in West Cobb.

Patch readers overwhelmingly picked the , , as their favorite florist in West Cobb.

In this week's , the downtown Powder Springs business received 94 percent of the vote over the competition—three area Kroger stores.

PearTree owner Kim Kornblatt from retiring Joe and Barbara Sutton, who bought the business themselves in 1987. It first opened in 1978.

"It’s awesome (being picked as a Readers' Choice), especially after Joe having it for so many years," Kornblatt said.

She said not much has changed since the change in ownership, other than business increasing thanks in part to the hiring of a new floral designer.

"The client base has really been supportive since we took over in November," she said.
