What do you offer customers?
Auto, home, business, life—all your protection under one roof. I personally conduct all of my preliminary property inspections myself, so I know that the home is insured properly from day one. We also offer appointments in our agency, in clients’ homes or at their place of business. We make it easy to review your insurance needs.

What makes your business unique?
As an American Family Insurance agent, I believe there's more to insurance than the policy itself. It's about providing dependable protection and service. That's why earning my clients’ trust is my policy.

What was your inspiration in getting involved in your business and starting your own?
I have 11 years in Public Safety as a Nationally Certified Firefighter and Firefighter Instructor. It was only natural that I work in insurance since I view what I do through my agency as being a public servant. I still get to be there for my clients in their time of need, and I have personally seen and experienced the tragedy of a house fire, a family losing a loved one, and motor vehicle accidents. I offer a unique perspective on the exposures that my agency insures our clients against.

What are the advantages of doing business in West Cobb? West Cobb is a great place to partner and build relationships with other businesses, schools and residents. I think West Cobb offers every way of life, from the small town to the bigger city, and everything in between. There is something for everyone here.

In times of a struggling economy, what advice would you give other business men and women to keep their business viable and growing? My advice would be to recognize that as the economy has struggled, people are becoming more frugal. Since people are more frugal, they are really slowing down and taking their time to consider all their options before spending one single dollar.

What this means for businesses is that we must work harder to set ourselves apart and that we must raise the bar higher than ever in regards to the intangible values that your business offers, especially in customer service.

I think that getting back to the basics of making a great first impression to win your customer over by offering excellent customer service, and then afterwards, working hard to nurture that relationship with that customer, will keep your business viable and growing for years to come.

With the value of the dollar being lower, people’s standards are higher, and we must rise to not only meet, but to surpass those standards and give our customers that wow experience at every interaction.
