What makes your business unique?
Proceeds from the shop support the homeless children in Cobb County schools. There were 1,600 homeless kids in our schools last year. The year before there were 1,288. It’s not getting better. OFH is a fill-in-the-gap ministry. We work closely with the social workers providing several items the children need and that are hard to get for them on a regular basis.

What was your inspiration in starting your business?
Truly a vision from God. I quit my job as a loan officer and started to collect and distribute clothing to foster families. That expanded to working with school social workers. Four years ago I opened to be able to raise funds needed to meet other needs. Today we are a major resource for new underwear, socks and shoes for the homeless children in Cobb.
