A few helpful hints for the ladies...
Cobb Martial Arts helps out the women of Cobb County with their Free Women's Seminar Series!
I the wake of all the violence that has been prevalent, I do believe my favorite ad maxim, “Better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have” ― Franz Kafka.
On that note, we had a wonderful first Women’s Self Defense Seminar at Cobb Martial Arts on May 11th. The place was packed and to my surprise…all the ladies had a great time!!! They learn some basic foundational concepts of open hand fighting, defense stances, utilizing their targets and live practice with padded students. We also introduced the Kubotan and self-defense techniques utilizing that particular weapon. We also demonstrated how to carry a purse, and how to distract an assailant with your bag while creating a window of opportunity; but we had a lot of fun doing it! And we even had a special guest that came to learn self-defense techniques at the wonderful age of 81!!!!
So we invite you not to miss the second seminar for the month of June 8th, 2013 at 12pm, at Cobb Martial Arts!!! Come check us out!! We will be selling Kubotans and the FEAR PINK T-Shirt, that has become the hallmark of our movement!!! See you there!!!
