Cobb Commission to Tackle Budget Tuesday

1. Back to school. Sorry, kids. If you live in Cobb or Douglas County, it's time to head back to school Monday. 

2. Douglas school board. The Douglas County Board of Education is set to meet Monday at 7 p.m. at 9030 Highway 5 in Douglasville. The meeting's schedule is attached to this article. 

3. Weather. The forecast from the National Weather Service shows chances for rain every day this week.

  • Monday—Showers and thunderstorms likely between 2 p.m. and 2 a.m. High 79/low 50.
  • Tuesday—30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m. High 75/low 46.

5. Cobb commission. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners is set to meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at 100 Cherokee St. in Marietta.
