County employees are on furlough to help with budget constraints.

4. Blake Gammill 5K, 10.5K, and One-Mile Run. In its seventh year, the event honors Douglas County Deputy Blake Gammill, who was killed in the line of duty. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday at in Douglasville. The 5k is set to start at 7:30, the 10.5k at 8:15, and the one-mile run at 8:20. For more information, click here.
