Douglas Schools Has New Website

Residents are invited to give their feedback on the fresh look.

1. Preserve Your Food. The UGA Cobb Extension is set to host a home food preservation class tonight from 6:30 to 8 at 678 South Cobb Drive in Marietta. For more information, call 770-528-4070.

2. Learn to do Business with Cobb. The Cobb County Purchasing Department invites people interested in learning how to conduct business with the county to a free workshop today from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Representatives from companies that provide goods and services such as computer hardware and software, public safety, tools and hardware, electrical repair and supplies, plumbing, audio/visual equipment, furniture, chemicals, janitorial supplies and custom printing are welcome. The meeting will be held in the Cobb Safety Village at 1220 Al Bishop Drive in Marietta. RSVP to Inger Eberhart at 770-528-3317 or inger.eberhart@cobbcounty.org.
