Roger David Boe: April 11, 1947 - March 20, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Thomas Henry Laird: May 25, 1938 - March 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. and will also have a reception immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Donations may be made in Mr. Laird’s memory to your local American Cancer Society chapter.

Borrough Shirley Phillips: June 14, 1937 - March 11, 2013. A memorial service is planned for early April and those arrangements will be available soon.

William "Billy" Hoyt Locklear: Dec. 7, 1938 - March 22, 2013. Funeral services for the Dallas resident will be held Sunday, March 24, at 3 p.m. from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Brad Benson officiating. 

The family will be receiving friends Saturday, March 23, from 5 to 8 p.m.; and on Sunday until the time of the service at 3 p.m.

Helen Harmon Allen: Jan. 28, 1942 - March 20, 2013. Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 76 Seaboard St. in Hiram, on Saturday, March 23, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tim Poston officiating. Graveside services will be held following the church service at Paulding Memorial Gardens in Hiram.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Cancer Foundation, Paulding County SPCA or to Holy Cross Lutheran Church grounds committee.

Maj. George Weldon Williams (Ret.): June 9, 1917 - March 20, 2013. Funeral services for Maj. George Weldon Williams will be held at Dallas First United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 24, at 3:30 p.m. with Dr. Steve Schofield and Associate Pastor Chris Pavlovsky officiating. Music will include the selection “In the Garden” and Dr. Dan Bakos will accompany on the organ. Ken Thompson, David Walraven, David Austin, Ken Vinson and Sam Dudding will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, March 23, from 5 to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, March 24, from 9 a.m. until departure in procession at 3 p.m.
