Police Chief's Appeal Set for Wednesday

The hearing at the Community Development office will be open.

1. City Council work session and meeting. The Powder Springs City Council is scheduled to have its rescheduled work session on Monday at 4 p.m. at . This will be followed by the regularly scheduled legislative meeting at the office at 7.

2. Richardson's appeal. L. Rick Richardson,  as police chief in early February, will have his appeal hearing on Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Community Development office. The hearing is open to the public. 

3. Weather. The forecast from the National Weather Service shows clear skies, except for midweek.

4. Baseball parade. Every year,  organizes a parade to kick off the upcoming season. This year's parade is set to start around the 4300 block of Marietta Street and proceed toward . The street will be blocked off for the parade. Mayor Pat Vaughn will be throwing out the first pitch. 

5. Cobb Commission meeting. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners is scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday at 100 Cherokee Street in Marietta. The meeting's agenda is attached to this article.
