Update: Powder Springs Preteen Is Back Home

Isaiah Marke'il Mcafee took his mother's 1999 white Ford Mustang about 8 p.m. Tuesday.

A 12-year-old Powder Springs boy who took his mother's car and ran away from home on Tuesday night is safe.

Isaiah Marke’il Mcafee "has returned home," said Maj. Matt Boyd with the Powder Springs Police Department.

Boyd offered no other details.

Powder Springs police are looking for a 12-year-old boy who ran away from home on Tuesday night.

About 8 p.m. Tuesday, Isaiah Marke’il Mcafee took his mother’s 1999 white Ford Mustang with Georgia tag No. PEY 7233.

He "is believed to have been in the area of MLK Drive in Atlanta and Six Flags since leaving his home," said Maj. Matt Boyd with the Powder Springs Police Department.

Mcafee was last seen wearing Air Jordan tennis shoes, khaki shorts, a shell necklace, and a blue, orange, yellow and white striped tank top. He has a mole on the right side of his face, just above his top lip. Mcafee also has dyed blonde/brownish hair.
